புனிதமிக்க ரமழான் மாதம் ஆரம்பமாக இருப்பதினால் ஸ்ரீ லங்கா தவ்ஹீத் ஜமாத்தின் பிறைக் குழு இன்று கூடுகிறது. நாட்டில் எங்கு பிறை பார்த்தாலும் அதனை ஏற்று நோன்பு பிடிக்க முடியும் என்ற குர்ஆன் சுன்னாவின் தெளிவான விளக்கத்தின் அடிப்படையில் இலங்கையில் எந்தப் பகுதியில் பிறை பார்க்கப்பட்ட தகவல் நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டாலும் அதனை ஏற்று நோன்பு நோற்க வேண்டும். அந்த அடிப்படையில் இலங்கையைச் சேர்ந்த சகோதரர்கள் இன்றைய தினம் பிறை பார்க்கும் படி ஸ்ரீ லங்கா தவ்ஹீத் ஜமாத் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறது. பிறை கண்டவர்கள் இரு சாட்சிகள் துணையுடன் பின்வரும் இலக்கங்களுக்கு தொடர்பு கொண்டு தெரிவிக்கவும்.
